Klatu's eCom E-Commerce Solution Integrates Credit Card Processing through Credomatic (Costa Rica) and BAC-Credomatic's Credit Card Processing Platforms

Adding Credomatic (Costa Rica)and BAC-Credomatic's processing platforms expands online credit card processing to Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panamá.

April 19, 2004--Klatu's present e-commerce platform already integrates Verisign and First Data's FDMS-South platform for the US, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, First Atlantic Commerce (Bermuda's) platform for the Caribbean, Panamá and Belize, and Global Payments and WorldPay covers the continental US. Adding Credomatic (Costa Rica) and BAC-Credomatic's platform expands our solution's coverage throughout Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica as well as providing a second choice within Panamá.

Several resellers in Panama, Honduras and Guatemala have been successfuly integrated, including Multimax(Panama), CCS Honduras (www.ejecutivomovil.com)and Sisteco(Guatemala)(www.mimouse.com).

Klatu's B2B electronic commerce platform facilitates Value Added Resellers (VARs) of technology products throughout the region. Klatu's solution gives access to pricing and availability of major distributors and supports additional suppliers and the VAR’s own inventory. Credomatic's online transaction processing enables regional domestic online settlement. Manufacturers, resellers and companies will be able to build an enhanced purchase environment at a fraction of the cost of an internal solution. This further expands our solution's credit card processing coverage. Additional credit card processing partners will be added as we market our e-commerce solutions into Mexico, South America and Europe.

“US-centric ecommerce models haven’t been widely successful in the region. Klatu enables these VARs to integrate their US and local in-country suppliers to meet their specific language, currency and other regional business requirements. It's about localization and globalization.” Klatu’s platform for LAC VARs is setting the standard for efficient and informed technology buying and selling across the IT supply channel. Klatu’s enhanced eCom™ engine integrates CNET DataSource images and multilingual content, a real-time supply chain from distributors such as Tech Data and specialized international e-commerce functionality. “Our solution addresses all the requirements such as real-time pricing and availability, multiple payment methods, a pricing engine, product filtering, and multiple INCOTERM and landed cost pricing for defined territories,” said Ralph Falkenburg.
